Child's Prayer for Mother / Father / Parents

Dear Lord,

I thank You for giving me my mom / dad / parents as guides and teachers on life's path.

I pray that You give her / him / them wisdom to know right from wrong and the wisdom to know how to teach me.

Give her / him / them strength to persevere when I may not listen and give me a gentle heart towards her / him / them.

But most of all, give us Your blessing that we may grow together as a family and stay close to each in Your love.
